Alaskans AGAINST Domestic Violence
Spin For A Cause 2020: WE STAND TOGETHER AGAINST ABUSE. Our Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Virtual community raised a total of $20,362.99 for Interior Alaska Center For Non-Violent Living in support of a safe community for all. THANK YOU to the businesses and individuals who helped make this fundraiser a success. We were grateful to ride with you in the heart of the city for this cause.

32 out of 100 experience sexual violence
45 out of 100 experience intimate partner violence, sexual violence, or both.
According to the most recent Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault report:
2015: the rate of forcible rape among Alaska women was three times greater than the national rate at 88 offenses per 100,000 Alaska women compared to 28.1 per 100,000 women nationally.
CDC data for 2010-2012 estimates the lifetime prevalence of sexual violence victimization among Alaska women was 44.6 percent.
For Alaska men, it's 20.4%.
Alaska Native females experience the highest victimization rate of any gender or racial group, comprising 42 percent of all reported victims in 2017.
